On April 30, 1985 Bonnie was hired in Embry-Riddle's Communication Department. She worked at the switchboard for 2 years, sometimes helping out in the ERAU Postal Services Department. On April 30, 1987 she was hired full-time in the Postal Services Department where she worked for nearly 13 years as the Supervisor. On September 11, 2000, Bonnie was hired as ERAU's Athletics Department Administrative Assistant where she has worked ever since.

In March of 2003, Bonnie was selected from a field of 10 distinguished nominees to be recognized as "ERAU's Staff Employee of the Year." Bonnie was cited for her efficiency in the handling of a record number of requests for the use of athletic facilities, assisting student-athletes in the process of insurance claims, and effectively training and assisting new personnel. She also earned praise for her positive, cheerful attitude and professionalism. The athletic department is both honored and fortunate to have Bonnie on staff.
